  • Hi mate, I had this problem last week and struggled to find any contact details apart from the number that was aside the company name on my bank statement. If you have not used them to get a loan, i have been advised to contact them and explain that you want a refund of the amount owed to you. they should then give you an address to write to, giving your full name and address, DOB, amount owed to you, reason you want a refund(this is pretty clear) and finally the last four digits of the card where the money has been taken from. I was told over the phone by one of there advisers that they would contact me once they received the letter. I sent it 1st class Friday but still haven't heard anything and cant find a number to contact them on as the place you send the letter is different to the call centre.

  • I have the same problem.....£74.79 was taken from my account from Your Money Finder.me on 06/09/2011 I have a telephone number for them and an address my bank BARCLAYS have refused to get involved. so I called money finder.me they are apparently more than happy to refund the payment but need a written request and my signiture (strange they didnt need this to withdraw the money) !!! I sent letter last thursday to have it returned today as it is a dud address. I have spoken to consumer direct and logged it there but cant do anything from 28days since my letter - which isnt ever going to get there as "addressee gone away" Your money finder refuse to let me speak to a manager and today have said a refund authorised 19th which is strange as they havent received my written letter so wonder how they now can authorise this. The police wont get involved without Barclays. even though the IP address where the applcation was made is not my IP address and is the other side birmingham. strangly all companies in Birmingham UK??? is this the same for everyone? I need help and advice who can help solve this issue. ????
    thanks

  • I have spoken to them again yesterday as I had the letter returned to me unopened and just stamped "refused". They have told me that I need to return the letter as recorded delivery and it should take 5-10 working days for the refund. I am very sceptical as to this happening but I will give it a couple of days and ring them back to check they have received it. How strange the place im sending the letter to, has no phone line available

  • Well 6 weeks later I still havent had a refund. They said it left their acc on 23rd Oct and still waiting on the plus side consumer direct contacted my bank they are now dealing as fraud (I had to logofficial complaint with them ) but they now say by the 17th Oct i should have refund the reason they are now dealing is becuase the company have promised me a refund and they have not sent an instruction to the bank to credit my account!! seems strange but my advice would be take it up with ur bank ! I will however keep u updated on progress (with gritted teeth) lol
