I just received a phone call from a Joseph Parker claiming to be from Global PC and that Microsoft was contracted with them to remove critical errors from my computer that were sent to a server. He had me open the event viewer to show me the errors (which I have learned is not uncommon to have errors in there)and then wanted me to go to a website that I assume would give him remote access to my computer. At that point I terminated the call. Please be aware that any unsolicited call that wants you to give them remote access to your computer is more than likely some type of scam and you should hang up immediately.
