Complaint 187440 Details

On 08/11/2012, I placed an online order of a pair of TS Heat Check Michael Beasley Black Red G22537 (30317) shoes for AUD $64.99 (please an approximately 10 AUD shipping fee) at the website www.adidasclassicshoes.org.

I received a confirmation of the order from a gmail account [email protected]. There was a link for a detailed invoice in the email. The link takes you tothe site http://www.adidasclassicshoes.org/index.php?main_page=login where you are required to enter your personal information (including banking details).

My Westpac Bank account was also debited an amount of AUD 77.70. The biller was identified as "SMENG NETWORK TECHNOLO BEIJING CHN".

When I hadn't received the shoes in close to a month, I went to the site www.adidasclassicshoes.org and contacted the seller using the 'contact us' link.

In response, I got an email from the address "[email protected]" on 05/12/2012 as follows:

Hi friend:
We just checked your order and was told that it was lost during the shipping way, we decide to resend you the order, but when we check the stock again, found that the pair of shoes is not in stock now. Could you choose another pair to replace in our stock album?

After you decide the one you like, please send us the link.
In order to express our apology, we will not cost you any extra cost for you to choose the more expensive one.

The site '"http://v.yupoo.com/photos/xy888/albums/" has pictures of seemingly fake shoes from reputed brands.

When I asked for a refund, they said that it would take 12-18 weeks for me to receive money from the credit card company.
