I received the trial items and noted on the terms and conditions that further items would be sent and debited on my credit card every month. I was then hit by a car and spent 3 weeks in hospital with a broken collarbone and broken leg so couldn't physically return the items within the required deadline and cancel the account. I phoned 2 days after leaving hospital and was told to return the items and the customer service(!?) advisor told me to return the items with a note and refund would not be a problem. I am also allergic to the lotions which I also told them. I have only received a refund on one item and have now received a further item for which I have been charged but they have told me that If I send it back I wont get a refund as I have cancelled my account - I was previously told when I cancelled that an item had already been dispatched but I should send it back on receipt for a full refund. To add insult to injury (literally!) it costs me £20.82 to collect these items from Royal Mail (UK) as a Customs charge is added, and nearly £10 to send them back (included in the above total damages amount)I have today telephoned and have insisted on speaking to someone in authority having been fobbed off twice today, and one of the advisors actually hung up on me. I am awaiting the call as I write. I will not give up on this and have told them I will take the complaint as high as I need to.
