I received an email from Bank of America or so it seemed. Recently my credit card company let me know that my account would be transferred to B of A so it seemed likely that B of A wanted info. I was directed to a URL that appeared quite legit with B of A flag logo and such. That URL directed me to write in my ID and password with that account. Then I was asked to fill out information. It was more than I wanted to give over the Internet so I called B of A which was not simple - because I did not yet have their contact info. Finally I talked to someone who told me it was a hoax because such info is not asked for over the Internet.
