He responded to my craigslist piano for sale. Said was in military and it was a surprise. Sold piano for 800. He deposited 1250 in my paypal account, then asked me to send 450 to Eric Walton in GA for shipping fees. Funny thing, he never used my name in email, didn't have my address, wanted money sent to a person instead of moving company, and sent me a text at 2 am! If I had sent shipping money, the balance would disappear from my paypal account and I would be out 450. Thankfully I read about this scam and didn't lose anything. BE CAREFUL!!!

I had a similar incident through my ad on CL. You can read more on it if you search under "[email protected]"
I didn't lose any money, because I've been buying, selling and been on the internet way too long to be fooled by vague and automated copy & paste responses. Hopefully, my experience could prevent others from falling prey for these kind of scams.

- I too got this email today. States in military and wants additional info for your paypal account. Glad my spidey- senses went up and I didn't respond.
