My mother is on a fixed income and someone from key one called her and said they could lower her interest charges. she gave them her credit card info and they charged her 998.00 on a card that ended up maxing it out. I told her if they could help herr they should not need her numbers they should have them already... I contacted amy who said my mother should not be eligable anyways because her apr rates are below 10% already so send a copy of her statements with the rates on it and her interest charges and she would refund the moneys she was charged. they never did! I have been trying to call the 800 number and another number I seen on one of these complaints and it just gets a busy signal. I called the card company and disputed the charge but they said they probably wont be able to do much, or arent sure if their fraud department can either... I am very worried about my mother now, what will she go without to try and pay this extra charge when she was already struggling to make ends meet. I am un able to help her as well since I am financially straped because of slow work and the availability ofwork in my small town area.. someone needs to introduce me to the people who ran this company so I can smack the s%$# out of them and then arrest them for preying on the financially struggling!!
