I received an e-mail about a PA job opening...
Initially, I asked where he got my info from.
He said he got it from some chamber database???
I unfortunately thought maybe it could be an opportunity (I'm an optimist)...
I received a check in the mail today (figuring if it was a scam, no check would show up)
Now he has sent me another e-mail saying that I need to deposit the money in my bank account (feel uncomfortable doing that...) and reserve $500 for my weekly pay, and $100 for wire transfers.
He's saying I need to take the remainder of the money (a whopping $4,250 left AFTER I take out my fees)and wire transfer it via Western Union Bank to 2 different people in the Philippines... (2 separate names, but the same address for both) HMMM.... starting to sound like a complete scam.

I'm definitely NOT depositing this money into my bank account... I'm sure he'd have access to my personal info (bank account, ect) then...
It's more than enough that he has my business address, name, and phone numbers :/
To be honest, you could look that info up on Facebook though, so I'm not overly concerned.

Also, he mailed a letter with the check. It mentioned D. Murray and it was mailed from an address (Rebecca Wales in Denalo, MN???). Can't find ANY OF THEM ON FACEBOOK! Everyone has a Facebook, especially business people.
