- I recieved an email once about overseas lottery winnings. Was told to send a fee for transferring the money from euros to USD. Told them to subtract the fee from the winnings, they said that was illegal. I never sent them any money and blocked their emails. I found out a short time later that according to federal law, overseas lotteries are not allowed here.
