Today I noticed a $19.95 charge on my credit card bill. I called and was told it was a monthly membership to a club I'd joined back in August of 2009. Apparently, I purchased the book "Relaxing with Curtis Stone" and the bookseller somehow enrolled me into this club. My husband pays the bills, so I never saw the charges to the card until today. So, I've been charged $19.95 MONTHLY for nearly 3 1/2 years for a club I never joined. When I blew my stack and demanded my money back, they gave me back three months worth of charges and "cancelled" my membership. However, they're having a "supervisor" call me back within 3 days to let me know whether or not they will rebate me the full amount (over $700!!). They claim I authorized the charges, which is a complete fabrication. Just Google this company and see how many others have fallen victim to their deceptive business practice.
