After signing up to join International Pen Friends, I was charged the "fee," but never received any membership information, nor did I receive any of the promised membership materials. I waited 2 weeks to conact them, due to the fact that their website states it will be approximately 2 weeks for them to mail your membership information, and then attempted to communicate with them. They do not accept e-mails or phone calls, so I mailed a letter with the required enclosed self-addressed, pre-stamped envelope inside, but did not ever hear back from them, nor see my money again.
