Last week, I changed my pay and talk phone to monthly plan and requested the attendant on phone to enable International roaming on my phone. I had Samsung's handset with CDMA technology. I did ask the attendant on phone if this handset will work in UK. The answer was yes it will work. My wife is travelling aline to India. Her conectng flight from London has been cancelled. The mobile phone she is carrying is not working there. I called customer service immediately and I was told that the handset is not compatible with network in UK. I was given wrong information last week. As a result, I am not able to contact my wife who is stranded at London airport.
