I was searching the internet for a payday loan. I checked my account a couple of days later when I saw a unauthorized charge/withdraw for $30.00 on my checking account and it was from Funding Assurance. I contacted my bank and was given the number to call the company. I called the number given to me and the customer service rep told me that I had signed up for the service. Then she kept trying to tell me what all the program offers. I informed her that I did not sign up for the service, because I did not even see the name for the company and had never heard of them. I told her I wanted it cancelled and money reimbursed, she said it was cancelled and my money would be reimbursed within 7-10 days it has been 9 days and I still haven't seen the money. I called them back and they said to give it 10 business days. I contacted my bank and was advised to wait till the 10th day and if the money don't show up, call the company and tell them my credit union is filing a case against them for fraud.
