I am retired and needed a little more income to meet our monthly needs. I had heard about a girl in my area that made several thousand a year blogging. I searched the internet and http://websitebusiness.com, gave me a call. The man I spoke to told me that the ad was correct and took all my info and told me my first step was a domain and to the tune on $399.00. They said I couldn't use my old domain from when I had a catalog. He wouldn't give me a day to think about it ,because the prices would go up. The next day one of the employees called me and gave me a great "use car" salesman pitch. He promised me that I would make at least $250.00 per week until the site was up rolling with all their ads and traffic they would generate for me. "I promise, "I promise, in six months you will have all the be pulling in over a thousand dollar. First he ask for one price, but "if you upgrade to day" you will get the best plan we have. OK, more money. I told him not to ask for anymore. But a week later he called be back and told me that he forgot, to a social networking. I ask to wait until the site was up working well. OH, No! I wouldn't get it then at that price. More promises. All I could hear was what one of "women's" favorite blog, which I will not name, was doing. That is just what I would be doing in a very short time.

I was beginning to get suspicious started research. The owner who now goes my the name of Reza Akahvan and Kyle Winn, have fired their employees and locked their doors. This is just one of the three companies they have worked, that have scammed people.

I began pushing for production of site and was told the work site was being rebuilt. " The best and easiest on the internet." That is a laugh. They promise me also that I had 90 days to get a refund. I requested the money refunded but got put off and made more promises.

Last week you could not reach them by phone or email. As of this week you receive a busy tone when you call. I received an anonymous email of the closed doors and suggested I dispute my credit card charges since I was in the 90 grace period. I have and we will see the outcome. I will also be sending a letter to the Arizona Attorney General's Office about this matter.

I do not have the money to fight this in court, plus I am embarrassed to have been so stupid to fall for this. I am a Christian lady that has seen God bring me though a lot. But this time I failed Him by trying to jump ahead of his plan to provide for me.

We as scammed clients need to do everything we can to stop these men and others out there. If you go to (Content Removed) you will find a resent article like mine.

  • Don't be embarrassed that you fell for WebsiteBusiness' tale of being able to make money by having them design a blog site for you complete with Amazon store. In July 2010 I doled out a total of $3,508.00, including a template and $760.00 for bloggers to launch the site which I would up doing over a period of time by writing better articles than I had paid for. The site looked professional, but you could have done it for free by downloading a WordPress theme from Google. I didn't want the headache of setting up my first website, so I was willing to pay the money. However, it did occur to me that if the company ever went out of business, you would not be able to access our administrative dashboard to make changes to your site. Any company has the right to close their business. But those people who recently paid WebsiteBusiness.com to put up their websites should get their money returned. And it doesn't look like the company heads are apt to do that because they obviously abruptly closed and ran away with whatever money they had collected.

In his report on complaintsboard.com, Dick Bloom urges all WebsiteBusines.com customers to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. I did this afternoon and I urge you to do the same. The FTC is more apt to do something if they receive a lot of complaints.
