MY Wife was having trouble with her iPad tablet. She google Apple tech support and get My Tech Help. They said she did not have her latest updates and that they would have to download that first to get her iPad working.
We live in the country and my access is via a Verizon MiFi. Then WiFi to the iPad. It took several hours to downloas the updates. It used up most of mi MiFi plan and when it was done nothing go to her iPad. It still did not work.
I broght it to work the next day for our IT manager to look at. While he was doing that I called My Tech Help to get a refund of $99.95 since the iPad did not work. They said I was not on a 3 year, $300 tech support plan. I said "like Hedi I am." The said they could reduce the charge to $89.95. I asked for what? They had not done anything to fix her iPad. The young lady said it cost me $89.95 every time you talk to a tech without a maintenance plan. Can you believe that?
I finally hung up and hope that others who read this will never deal with My Tcch Help or any others like them. We should have called Verizon or Apple and the hell with these thieves, JUST HARD WORKING THIEVES.
