Ordered a program online called Speedmaxpc for $29.95 to speedup my pc laptop. I was charged $39.94. The extra was for some kind of service contract that I did not see in some fine print. I also found out that I somehow signed up for an automatic renewal for the same amount each year when it expires that I also did not see or know about. I have purchased other programs like this before and they never signed me up for automatic renewal. When I tried to cancel the auto renewal charge online on the link they gave me I could not log in because I used paypal to purchase it and it asked for the last 4 digits of my credit card to log in to cancel it. I found a customer service email address from Safecart so I sent them an email to cancel the auto renewal charge. I also canceled the auto renewal on my paypal account. I found the whole purchase with auto renewal to be deceptive. In addition the program made the computer worse because some of the driver updates were not compatible to my computer.
