I ordered and received an HD DVR dash cam for one of our transport trucks. I gave it to our driver who later reported the following: the unit was shipped missing the USB Interface cable, the 12v charging cable did not charge the battery or the battery would not charge, the night vision LEDs would not illuminate (at night or at any other time),the indicator light showing the unit was recording would not "blicker" (as per instructions-we assume that means to blink on then off).
I filed a complaint and was issued a support ticket number and was told to send the unit back TO HONG KONG, which I found out would just cost me about $40. Here I thought I was buying the unit from a North American supplier who would support the product.
A similar unit, same brand and model, was just purchased from a local supplier for not much more $ and is now working I the truck just fine.
I think I was sent a refurbished unit by Evolution World Wide.
