I was approached by this person for chatting. As the weeks went by I took an interest in liking this person.. They claimed they were in the Us Military fighting "Operation Enduring Freedom.. The weeks went by the more I chatted the more involved I become.. They then wanted to come to Australia and visit.. Sarah asked if I could send a letter to the "Secretaryofdefense" (defence incorrectly spelt), asking for her leave to visit me as I am suffering depression since her return to duty! Well, I did.. Secretary replied back within 8 hours stating they had granted her leave of 3 months.. Sarah was given the approval and I was sent a Guarantee form that if I paid $800 a solicitor would organise the flights, ummm leave forms etc.. On Sarah's return home I would receive the guarantee money back.. I was told Sarah couldn't access any of her accounts until she arrived in Australia.. The leave money that she was granted was also going to be deposited into my account in a lump sum.. So of course I'm waiting, she was emailing me all the way as I was unable to get msn messenger.. We were also talking via "Skout" dating agency.. I am to deposit $800 to Western Union, email back the reference no.. I was suspicious already. I had a friend check it out and tell me you didn't deposit that money did you? Thank god I hadn't. It was all over Current Affairs programs etc. I failed to view due to work commitments.. Why me? Lucky I sent no money and wised up myself also.. Now I am left feeling and looking at the photos of the person that I admired, heartbroken.. It wad never about the money, it was about happiness and how I had found my soulmate after all these years.. I was even prepared to take on the emotional scars this Us Army Military soldier had endured mentally and physically.. How ironic now I'm left with the scars.. Don't ever let you heart outweigh your head.. First time online dating experience.. Don't search true love will come to you.. Now I have to be a brave soldier and carry on undefeated only emotionally.. Yours truly.. Simone
