On June 15, 2012 I researched the internet for help on Foreclosure Prevention. That is when I discovered Consumer First Legal.
Our mortgage was behind and Christine Anderson put us on a payment plan asking for $1330.00 as a retainer and $600.00 per month until settled. She promised no more than 3months.
During this very unsettling time we were told not to pay our mortgage, that any behind payments could be put on back of the loan.
So for three long months we trusted them with our money,personal finances and most of all our home. We spoke with, Christine Comfort, Ana Gomes and Louisa Martinez. They kept passing the calls. We are now in forclosure and out $2530.00. We ended the contract when they stopped answering our calls.

- The very same thing has happened to my husband and I. We were asked for a down payment of the $1300 and $600 per month. We sent in tons of papers that they requested and a month would go by before we would hear anything again. Then we were asked to send more. Then we started getting the run around that they did not receive something so we would fax it again. Numerous calls and emails were sent to Louisa Martinez and Ana Gomes. Weeks would go by before we would get any response only to be told once again that they are still waiting on more paperwork from us. We were told that they were in negotiation with your mortgage company and that we should not have any contact with our mortgage company ourselves. We talked to our mortgage company today and there is NO RECORD whatsoever of ANY negotiation. We have been getting the run around with numbers to call and have found that they go by Consumer First Legal Network, LLC and Consumer First Legal Group. All things match to Harold E. Stafford at the address 8253 Mayo Drive, Suite 309, Madison, Wisconsin. Because of all of this our house is in foreclosure. We have three children, and are on pins and needles now on how long we are still going to have our home. This is all we have. I don't know how someone can do what they have done to us!!!

- We have been ripped off $3130 and now we are in the hole $10,000 to our mortgage company because of Consumer First Legal Network, LLC or Consumer First Legal Group, Harold E. Stafford, and all associates including Christine Comfort, Carla Alvarez, Chrissy LeMaster, Michele Sharpe, Ana Gomes, Louisa Martinez, 8253 Mayo Drive, Suit 309, Madison, Wisconsin 53719, phone 561-494-0208, fax 608-807-1972. I have all records of secure payments, papers faxed to them, and emails. I hope they are stopped before this happens to someone else, and that everyone that has been scammed will get their money back. More importantly, they have very personal financial documents including tax records with social security numbers. I am very uncomfortable about this and I am currently seeking help on what to do next about this.
