International boundaries

I ordered Cagney & Lacey Boxed Set of 10 DVD's
on 18th August 2012. The company took my money from a Credit Card on 21st Aug 2012.
After 4 weeks I emailed them asking when I could expect delivery, they replied 3 - 6 weeks.
After 8 weeks & still having not received the DVD's I emailed them again asking for a refund.
I also asked my bank to effect a refund.
I got an answer from the company saying the goods had been held up in Customs but that I should have the goods by the end of next week (26th October 2012)!
