Last year, my son received notices that his vehicles registrations were past due.. and because the renewal date passed significant late fees were added. Because he could not prove that he never received the billings, he was obligated to pay the excessive late fees.

Now, today, June 25, 2011, my sisters and I were discussing how our vehicle registrations due next month, July 2011, have not been received... We all believe this is a Scam by the State to generate extra fees. The vehicles registrations are not being sent out intentionally and the consumer is unaware of this.

How can Consumer Affairs make this public to protect everyone against this Scam by the State of California?

Please make this known to all..
Thanks.
