I found an add on kitcars.com for a kit car i was intersted in june, 2012. I contacted the seller, Ted Sorenson the third at phone# 1-213-361-1642 and spoke to mr. sorenson. We agreed on a price of $7,300.00 which was to include a new paint job and shiping to my home in lake charles,la. I was told the car wouuld be delevired no later than 4 weeks. I wired mr. sorenson the agreed amount of $7,300.00 on july 5, 2012. i have been given every excuse you can tink of as to why the car was never delevered. in early september i was told that by mr. sorenson he was going to send me a chek for a complete refund with an added $100.00 for my trouble. when the chek arrived I drove to the nearest bank of america branch to me which was an hour and a half drive to beaumont texas. I was told the account did not have funds in it to cover the check. after leaving numerous messages on mr. sorinsons phone he called me and said he has a replica porshe he has to sell to make my check good and he would call me once he sold the other car and deposits money for the chaeck to clear. I have not heard from mr. sorinson since, I have left at least 50 messages on his phone but he hasnt returned any of my calls. the last message i left was not very nice. I am a police officer and a single parent and I can not afford to loose this money. I will retire april 1, 2013 and this is why I purchased this car as a hobby to play with. I had to get a signiture loan at my credit union to get the money to wire mr. sorenson. Please help me. Thanks, Stephen sturrock (Personal Information Removed)
