I went to the place twice once on September 3 and again September 20 stayed both times for a week spent well over $5000 never asked any prices oof anything just wanted to enjoy myself play golf, relax and enjoy the mountains. Since living full time at the beach and owner of a mobile marketing company that keeps me busy I like to mix business with pleasure unfortunately I did not have a good time either stays things in both places were broke like the jacuzzi at the Appalachian Resort or the spa steam rooms at $125 a pop had two in one day. The staff at the hotel Grande Cascades are really bad. In one day got locked out of my room 6 times, was insulted and treated like a street person by as high up as the operations manager who confronted me at breakfast which by the way I spent $135.00 he stood there and told me I have to leave the hotel because I did not book my stay when in fact I had extended my stay two more days. He must have taken them out of the booking system becasue I stood right in front of the clerk as she placed in the system. You see I had invited the manager to have dinner with me the night before so I could discuss the problems he refuse and insulted me with I will buy you a drink. That is a real insult since I was drinking $25.00 Scotch.

The staff at the golf pro shop treat me like dirt becasue I wanted golf Tee's and he told me he had none after I had spent $300.00 for shoes that didn't fit, over priced sunglasses and rented clubs that did not even come with a towel. I have played golf all over the country this is NO 4 Star Place unless they are paying someone off to say that this is no better than Motel 6 The Hampton in make you feel more welcome and care about the guest and their needs. In the entire two trips I met only 6 people that I would hire to work for me and I am in the people pleasing business I market business to the public around the world... This place needs to be closed and revamped with new fixtures, new carpet and new staff. For $400 per night they don't even have a wet bar I want all my money back this place is a rip off dump who are polluting there earth with trash and I have everything on video
