I was told about this company by a roofer who fixed my roof- and asked about my mortgage situation. He proceeded to tell me- he would be doing it if his house was not already paid for- but, that he had researched it, and then told his son- who had started the "program".
I felt justified in doing it, because this company had cheated me- I only asked to borrow $10,000 and had equity in my home. They said they could not do so- unless I also paid off all my credit cards, as well as my new husband's credit card debt. (He needed the money to pay off his delinquent child support). I did not agree with that- what does that have to do with my borrowing money? My husband (has been gone since 2007)- told me not to worry- as he was going to "take care of it"- with his new job. My house was almost paid for when this happened in 2005.
So, of course, I listened to Mr Rolland Moon- who seemed so sincere and who told me - he personally had gone through this process, and now owned his home- because of it. So, yes, I foolishly, agreed, and believed it was "sent by God"- for people like me.
I just received a packet from HSBC- for HFC- telling me they have received my paperwork and there is no basis for correspondence they have received (sent by Titans).
I have been paying Titans since April- and NOT paying the mortgage- per their advice- and that the home would be MINE- free and clear- in November.
After reading the letter from HSBC (HFC)- I know- it is indeed NOT going to happen.
My house is a little house- it is not much to look at- but, I have gone through a lot.
My 2 oldest children have moved - but I still have my youngest son, who just finished college, on a scholarship.
I do not know what I should do- now I am so behind, due to paying THEM, not my mortgage.
We will be homeless.
