I received my credit card statement this morning and did not recognize this charge so, I called the phone number (888-534-3596) and was informed that it was a charge for face cream that I had ordered. I said no, I did not, I paid shipping $1.95 for a trial and if I liked it I would order more. She informed me that I had not read the fine print and I had signed to receive a monthly shipment for $89.95 per jar! I said that I was not going to pay that much for this "trial" jar and I wanted to get a credit and would returned the jar. I was given a return autho# and an address to return it to. BUT she said it was much better for me to get a 50% discount then to ship it back! NO, I said, I do not want a $50- jar of face cream either. I will return this and get my credit....no, she say's you will not get all of your credit, you will only get back $89.95 of your $97.87 because you have to pay shipping. I paid shipping I informed her on 8/28 for $1.95. Oh she says, hold on....that charge is for sales tax, you have to pay that! WHAT? pay sales tax on something I returned? No, I will get all of my $97.87 back, I will pay the $1.97 for shipping to me and the cost to return it to you and that will be all the money I will pay on this transaction. I informed her that I would contact my credit card company and dispute this charge and have a nice day. She continued to argue with me saying they would contest and make me pay the tax!! WOW......live and learn! BAD NEWS! Thank God for credit cards! Unfortunately companies like this will keep on ripping people off....it's all a numbers game to them.
