Hello!

I visited the Betfred outlet in Findon on Sunday morning.
I asked the shop assistant if it was possible to place an 'anytime goal scorecast' on the Liverpool v Manchester Utd match. He said this was possible.
I then proceeded to place a £2.00 bet on:

Liverpool 2-1 Manchester United with Van Persie to score at anytime.

The prediction was correct but when I returned my betslip to the Betfred outlet in Horsham they said that the bet was void. The assistant recommended that I call customer enquiries. The phone assistant said that the shop assistant in Findon would receive a firm telling off for accepting the bet but that was the best that they could do. They wouldn't even refund the £2.00 stake. I found this extremely frustrating and unprofessional. Is there any action I can take? Thanks in advance for taking the time to read my e-mail and I would appreciate any advice you have for me. Joseph Dormer

  • I would like the bet to be adjusted to the best possible format that is not void.
