I joined the site 24th July 2012, for a trial £5.00 joining fee. The monthly membership for taking this 28 day trial was £24.99 per month.

After a few days, I tried to cancel membership and cancelled payment details and deleted profile. Also I posted form to them to cancel membership on 24th July 2012.

I came across scammers, who I reported to them and advised this was the reason I was cancelling membership.

The cancellation process does not lend anyone a simple and clear way to cancel membership in a fair and timely fashion.

I was repeatedly receiving emails requesting I pay Be2 money and felt this was wrong. I messaged the cancellation form I had saved before printing and posting, the properties of which were clear as to when it had been created. On 30th August, I received acknowledgment of cancellation.

Since then I have had messages asking for more money and was advised that the money due was £146.00. This was a complete shock to me as I understood membership to be £24.99 per month, thus, in view of the date the cancellation was acknowledged, I should have owed only £24.99. Even though I should have owed nothing as I had posted the form in good time.

I have been advised by the customer services team that the case has been referred to debt collection service, but it is unclear whether this was a team that examine cases or a separate debt collection agency that will affect my credit rating, which I was advised could be the case.

I advised that if they sent me a breakdown of the bill I would show it to my solicitor, which led to me being advised that the case was referred to the collections service.

I would never recommend anyone join this site, not only for fear of being exploited by 'potential partners', but also by Be2.

The problem with scammers was bad enough, but then to be scammed by the company is far worse, resulting in me feeling distressed, loosing sleep and fearing my credit rating being put under threat. The times of my posted emails demonstrate the times I have spent awake on trying to reason with Be2.

I have been advised a letter is in the post to me from the collections team again, after trying to resolve the issue via email. I cannot see anywhere on the site for customer complaints.
