I was checking my account balance on Thursday, September 20, 2012 when I saw that I was in the negative, not only did I get alarmed but I then saw a $30.00 check. I didn't authorize this to be taken out!!! I called my bank and unfortunately on the day that I called the bank couldn't tell me who the company is until the check posted on my account the next day. Okay, so the next day, Friday, September 21, 2012 comes and I see that a company by the name of Vantage Funding took out the $30.00 check! I immediately called them and told the woman I didn't authorize this! I asked her what is this for and she told me it was for a loan application. I told her I didn't apply for a loan with Vantage Funding and she specifically stated, "well we somehow got your information." Then I said, "well somehow I didn't personally give you my information." She couldn't explain to me how she got my information! Not only did I demand my $30.00 back, she repeatedly kept trying to tell me to apply! I told her NO!!! I dont' want to apply and I never applied with your company!!! She then tries to offer me $100 gas card! I don't have a car! I don't want it! I just want my $30.00 back that's it! Then I said, I want a supervisor then she hangs up on me! Wonderful! Now I am stuck with a $30.00 nonauthorized check plus a $36.00 NSF (non sufficient funds)fee from my bank! THIS IS JUST GREAT!!!! I did file an investigation with my bank but I can't get a credit not until 120 days!!!! Great! Thanks a lot Vantage Funding!!!!
