We visited Mango's restaurant on a timeshare sales presentation. They ask if we had $5000 available on our credit card for a deposit on a 3 bedroom condo in the Penninsula. We gave them the money and then we were told we needed to pay the remaining $31000 to purchase the weeks for the condo. They told us we need to pay this in order for them to sell our USA timeshare which was 100% guaranteed to be sold. The money up front would be a security that we would not back out of the deal. We borrowed $31000 and wired it to them. Once we had done that they wanted another $5000 for half of the closing cost which now we took a cash advance on our charge to send them. We have 2 kids in college, our charges are maxed. This deal gone bad has ruined our whole family. We are also ashamed and sick over the biggest mistake of our lives.
