We've been using Comcast service for internet connection and cable TV for more than 6 years now. This company is not only crooks but manipulator. Our frustration in dealing with Comcast has reached to a boiling point. My husband and I do feel that we have tried the best possible thing to resolve our dissatisfaction with Comcast. Hidden charges are getting ridiculously high. They always give you this "PROMO" that's good up to 6months. Why in the world we have to call every 6 months and downgrade? Guess what? If you then forget to call and downgrade, you get to pay a whole lot!!! So as a show of good faith, we talked to the people in charge through phone and 24-hours service online chat. We used to have Bundle and that really was a big mess. So we decided, well maybe its the landline that we should discontinue. And so we did settle and paid. This time, we are so fed up. We are paying about $115 + tax. This amount is reasonable. But then, the service shot up to about $600++per month for the billing period. This is not the first time they did this to us.... Numerous times we tried to talk to their costumer service both ways (phone, chat, comcast office) and for one second, we thought we had resolved the problem. But we were wrong. Despite the constant communication with them seems not working at all. We have to pay the amount being charge to us as all these services do to consumers. As if we are at the mercy of their hands. Desperately trying to downgrade our service, we could not afford for cable and internet access, we just discontinued it. But Comcast would still rip us off. We returned the equipments to the Comcast center facility in Foster City and still owed some more money!!! So then we called again the 1-800 number. A male representative that spoke to us said, the final payment we paid for the return of the equipments & discontinued service are calculated wrong. And why is it wrong? And how many of these untrained represenatives would give consumers wrong fees? Are they saying this is a guessing game numbers? Who do we believe? We called the 1-800 number EVEN before returning the equipments, just to inform them that we are returning EVERYTHING and would like to know HOW MUCH ONCE AND FOR ALL THAT WE HAVE TO PAY. Apparently this guy is just poor in customer service and even said to me " People make mistakes". And so, is he saying that, when they billed us $300 or $400 per month, it was a mistake too? We're done with them and we are not supporting COMCAST company ever. We strongly feel that we are being taken advantage of in this matter.

Comcast continues to take advantage of consumers like us, we believe that they are being unfair and insensitive to needs of their customers. Their fraudulent act would still go on. I do hope they fail and be out of business soon.

  • My husband and I would love NOT to deal with Comcast for life. We do not want any unnecessary letters nor made up BILLS in the future. We deserve to be left alone as they have taken advantage of us for the longest time. We do not want to pay EVEN the smallest amount they want us to. We are sick of the Company, the workers the train to be crooks, and the manipulation and the negativity they brought to all consumers. We do not like to pay. PERIOD.
