This company texted my 12-year-old son with "Reply OK to 60699. This is a free message from PlaynWin (60699)." Nothing about winning anything. However, as I had recently topped up his phone he thought it was about confirming the top-up and texted OK, only to find a sum of money gone from his pay-as-you-go phone. We use this phone for emergencies and convenience only, and it is important that he has enough money on it to be able to call home if necessary. I find this totally irresponsible and reprehensible. Maybe it is possible to "win" something (no free lunches, remember!) but to take money off kids who are not scam-savvy is just plain old dishonest!
