My Bank Visa/Debit card was falsley charged $39.95 which I did not authorize. When I called the 24/7 support line they asked who the merchant was, the last four digits of my card and email. They said they woul issue a refund. 18 days later with still no refund I called back and they could not locate a transaction to refund me. I had already immediatley cancelled my card but my bank had said I should try to get the refund first because it would be a lengthier process with some paperwork to fill out for the bank to do it. So now I must go to my bank. An interesting note however is that I rarely used that card and they only recent purchase I made with it was for a pint of ice cream at a little suspicious looking gas station mini mart run by immigrants. I am not usually biased against people pursuing the American dream but that is the only place I had recently used my card. Hmmmm?
