I have been bombarded with emails asking me to enter their various games, etc. It has always been emphasized that no purchase is necessary in order to win. However, I received an email today saying that since I had not ordered anything lately that my status was being downgraded and chances of winning anything was very slim.
I know that this is just a way to sell more of their inferior products at an inflated price and an outrageous shipping charge. They also say on their web site that you don't have to purchase anything in order to win, and then send you an email saying your chances have been downgraded since you haven't ordered anything lately!
I speak from my own experience when I have ordered items that I thought to be kind of "neat," but frankly the prices keep going up and the shipping charges as well. I do a great deal of my shopping on the internet, and know what the average shipping charges are.
I'm just wondering how many older persons with just their social security as income are getting caught up in all these wonderful prospects of winning "big" money.
