We where recently scammed out of over £6000 for a car that never appeared
We spotted and advert on Gumtree.com for a Ford S max which would of been ideal for our growing family
We contacted and guy called Adam and he sent us details of the car, Reg Number and pictures of the interior and exterior.
We checked the car out through the Database for finance and accidents, the information came back all clear.
We got in touch with him though email and decided to go ahead with the sale.
He said the he was working in Ireland for the next few weeks and would be back in England when he got a chance.
He suggested that we use a brokerage/holding company recommended by gumtree.
To cut a long story short, we deposited all our hard earned savings into this very professional looking account, which we had previously checked out at companies house and
all looked legitimate.
The car was then to be delivered to us and if we where happy with it, only then we should release the money into the sellers account
The car never turned up, when we tried to get in touch with this guy,the phone was just ringing out the website vanished along with our cash...

After some investigation we found a number of fraudulant websites, email addresses, bank accounts and names that this conman is using.
