I am trying to hold a company to an agreement we made in 2011.


I am a resident of Australia and own travel credits through an Australian company called Whyndham which I can exchange for hotel accommodation across venues located in Australia, Fiji, New Zealand and around the globe via other exchange programs. I was approached by a company in Florida called Vacation Property Marketers in xxx who act as brokers in selling and renting those credits to overseas travellers who wish to stay in the properties provided by Whyndham.


It has been well over 14 months and I have had little communication from them, no updates on their search or regular emails or negotiating. They are hard to call due to offset time zones and they reply rarely to emails and when they do they are vague and unhelpful.


I have paid them a one off fee of $AUD1500.00 and am hoping to get this back along with anything else that can help compensate me for the aggravation caused.



I believe they have not been fulfilling their end of the contract and have offered a sub par service at best. I am lead to believe this is some sort of scam. When I have gotten someone on the phone they have been fine, but I am sceptical as to whether I will get my credits sold for the agreed price and would like to know what can be done about the situation.
