I had applied for some online payday loans. Apparently, this company--which I did not apply with--acquired my information, including bank account number, and charged my checking account for $19.00. When I attempted to contact them, all I got was a recording stating that the charge was a one-time, non-refundable charge, and that if it was returned as insufficient funds, then they would re-submit the entire charge plus a $25 insf charge. And if that got returned, then they would tack on an additional $25, and so on. They are a fraudulent company and I have already reported them to the Better Business Bureau and my State Attorney General's office. I will have to shut down my checking account after payday on Friday and open up a new one to stop this company from charging me numerous times.
