I was called today by GetEasyTech. They claimed to be calling from Birmingham in the UK. I spoke firstly to a woman and was then passed to a male colleague for further 'explanation' for their call. Having heard about this type of scam before I deliberately kept them talking for 35 minutes! Finally tiring of their explanations I took great pleasure in making them aware I had been 'stringing them along'. However, they are very convincing and when asked directly if they were from Microsoft they denied it so be aware - they are learning. They seem to now be using a softly, softly approach but don't be taken in. These people are only out to get your details and money, nothing else. Please take care and do not allow them remote access of your computer.
