We purchased a king Size Serta Mattress from Lazy Boy Furniture in Ottawa Canada in the winter of 2011..
As the months went on the mattress became increasingly out of shape, to the point that within a few months we were falling out of bed, while the middle of the mattress had become a little hill.
Complaints to both Serta and Lazy boy brought nothing but more dissatisfaction and frustration.
We had to pay 35 dollars for serta to send an inspector. It was a sham. Mr Inspector . only stretched a string across the bed, and pinned it to either side. Because there was less than one and one half inch inch space at any point,our complaint was dismissed.
However, the way he attached the string predetermined the outcome, because it followed the contour of the mattress. At no time did he, rr would he sit or lie on the mattress to fully get an accurate feel of this piece of crap.
Now, here's the kicker In its letter to me of August 20,2012 claim number 44273, Serta says" note that a comfort issue is not covered by the warrenty". Quite a statemenbt- we dont gaurantee comfort. A far cry from their written " Assurancre of Quality" statement that reads our goal is " assuring you the most comfortable and healthful night's sleeep." It continues "through the Serta Quality Assurance Program, you can feel confident that your Serta sleep will will provide you with long lasting comfort and support you expect."
To top of these false claim, the sales people at Lazy Boy said, if your not satisfied, we will replace it, even after several months.
Take my advice shop around before you buy. and dont trust either Serta or Lazy Boy.
