I have never paid for rental car for my college kids nor roadside assistance for my own car as I have it on my extended warranty. However, in January of 2011 when my husband got rid of his 1997 expedition and got a 2007 expedition, Geico just started adding the rental on my kids cars and the roadside on my car. It is less than $70, but it is the principle of the matter. We never authorized the charges! Ironically, the woman who did the changing of the expeditions no longer works at Geico! Go figure!
