I created an account with QuiBids, entering my debit card information, because QuiBids offered free bids as a promotion to new customers. I then bid on a $10.00 gas card, which I won for $2.50. When I checked my bank account the following day, QuiBids not only charged me the winning price of the gas card ($2.50) but an additional $60.00. When I contacted their customer service rep, I was told that the $60.00 fee was for the bids I used (but did NOT purchase). Therefore, according to QuiBids, I purchased a $10.00 gas card for $62.50. The QuiBids customer service rep refused to refund the $60.00.
