Basically had the same thing happen as the majority of posted complaints. The difference is that I got my money back. Was looking for videos of prometric skills to study before my upcoming Certified Nursing Assistant state test, which is administered by Prometric. I was baited the same way and paid $29.95 for media crawler through Avangate. Couldn't get what was initially shown to me because it doesn't exist (Bait, Scam and HOOK)!
Anything I could find with media crawler was stuff I could find on my own, without having to pay for some useless software to do it for me. I sent Avangate a very tersely worded email stating my findings and demanding a refund. I had paid them via PayPal. My PayPal account was reimbursed within a few days. I see the fact that they gave me my money back without stating their case as an admission of guilt. These scams work on attrition, people just go away and won't fight for a measly $29.95 because they're too busy. They just lay down while avangate goes laughing to the bank. I guess they figured I wasn't going away. They figured right! For those of you who haven't, GO GET THEM!! Don't lay down and take it.

- You can have all the TOS's you want but the fact of the matter is this: I searched the internet for a relevant file I wanted and found that file. When I went to download said file, I was informed that I needed to subscribe to your service to get it. I subscribed. Then, mysteriously, said "relevant" file was nowhere to be found. Please explain to us ignoramuses, that obviously don't understand your TOS, why that happened. I mean, all I had to do was subscribe to get it?
