This man offered to purchase a piece of art from online and mailed me via UPS a cashiers check for 2,500 dollars that was a phonie bad check which had been altered. I had spent hours of work preparing the art piece for shipment and spent great deal of money on shipping materials. My bank has charged me 12 dollars for the returned check plus overdraft fees and other charges and are threatening to close my accounts. This also stressed me out causing a great deal of pain and suffering.
