God knows we should try working with people without having to involve lawyers for everything, here is my issue I bought a hell damaged car from Edmond Hyundai Phone: 1-888-805-4540 Address 14137 N. Broadway Ext Oklahoma City, OK 73013 Only 24 hours ago from Eddie Stutson Sales Professional at Edmond Hyundai , I told the dealership that the car appeared to have over $10,000.00 in damage, Edmond Hyundai sales persons to include the GM Phil Wartley Sales Manager assured me that it was only tops $5000.00, I trusted and assumed they where telling the truth about the cost besides they had surly seen more hell damaged vehicle than myself I traded my 2006 Lexus 400h and took the 2011 Cad STS and on my why home a 120 miles away it got dark out and I had to cut on the headlamps and other electrical cockpit equipment I noticed that the electrical equipment and headlamps would go out and later come back on.. I made it home okay and the next morning I took the vehicle to three repair shops for estiments on the soppositlly $5000.00 of damage all the shops stated that the vehicle had over $12,000.00.in damage I contacted Edmond Hyundai to inform them of the cost of the damage and the faulty electrical system that I was never told about the Edmond phone receptionist asked for my name and after a long wait the receptionist got back on the line and stated she could not get any of the sales reps to pick up the line I told the receptionist to tell the Edmond Hyundai sales reps that where involved with selling me the 2011 STS Cadi that they had told misleading untruths in the sale of the 2011 cadi STS and had withheld information about the electrical system that could have resulted in me having an accident and that I was coming to pick up my Lexus up and return the Cadi... when I arrived at the Edmond Hyudai Dealership I told them I was ther to return the cadi and pick up my vehicle first I was given a 2 hour run around and then a sales rep named Brandon Armstrong Sales Manager that sets just behind the GM Phil Wartley Sales Manager in the glass office was sent out to help me we went outside so I could show him what I was talking about on the vehicle he stated it was nothing I could show him on the vehicle that he did not already know about and that is was noting I could do about the false statements because we are the state of Oklahoma and I would have to go through their lawyers to get my car Lexus 400h back.. or I could just make easy on myself and let them fix the Cadi for what they said it would cost only $5.000.00. I told him Wow just like that you are telling me that I have been got? I told Brandon Armstrong Sales Manager that I needed to speak with his supervisor he handed me the shop estimats that I had given him showing the true value of the damage on the cadi and walked away I followed him to the the glass office just inside the front doors of the dealership and he went in and sat down at a desk and never contacted his supervisor, after about 10 min observing Brandon Armstrong Sales Manager just sating and looking at a computer screen I entered the glass office and announced that I needed to speak with GM Phil Wartley Sales Manager the a man in a pine stripped suite stood up and asked how can I help you I told who I was and he stated own this is about the Cadi I stated yes and he no problem I will be right with you and told a young man in the glass office to get me a drink and put in his office and he would there shortly the arrived and I explained that I had be told lies deceived and threaten with lawyers and all wanted was to have the Cadi fixed or pick up my vehicle the GM Phil Wartley Sales Manager stated hay no problem we will fix the vehicle for the $5000.00 and requested that I take the Cadi to his people for estiments so he could drew up the contract stating they would fix the vehicle first he sent me to a shop called Color Tech and another shop just on the other side of the highway called paint-less dent removal... Color Tech estimated the damage and called Edmond Hyundai and told someone on the line that the damage was well over $12,000.00 on the other side of the freeway the Paint less Dent Removal guy stated he could not fix 65 % of the damage and gave a $2,800.00 estimate for the 35 % that he could fix... I collected the information and brought it back to the dealership and handed it to the GM Phil Wartley Sales Manager, the GM Phil Wartley Sales Manager then sent me in to the finance office to add $5000.00 to the Cadi, he said this extra cost of $5000.00 added to my contract would pay for the repairs on the Cadi this confused me because while at the repair shop Color Tech I had over heard the owner of the Color Tech telling someone at the Edmond Hyundai dealership that the damage of Cadi was well over $12,000.00. So how could $5000.00 fix it ... finance prepared the new documents with the added $5000.00 and requested my signature I told him I first needed to see the contract stated they where going to fix the vehicle .the finance person left the loan office to get the documents and later returned stating everyone including the GM Phil Wartley Sales Manager had gone home.. I refused to sign the documents taking out another $5000.00 on the already over priced and damaged vehicle was getting late and my wife over 100 miles from home and driving a unsafe vehicle with headlamps that go out .

the company contacted me, they resolved all my issues and fixed the car at a lower price than told at purchase.. thank you Edmond Hyundai.........

  • Edmond Hyundai Continued Time line.. today I received a phone call from a Mr David Patel, Mr Patel introduced himself as being the Edmond Hyundai General Manager I found this odd because just a day ago when I had an issue with the sales manager Brandon Armstrong and requested to speak the General Manager a Mr Phil Wartley had introduced himself as being the Edmond Hyundai General Manager.. Mr Patel apologized for the confusion and that he knew I leaved over 100 miles away and requested a time I could come in and see him we agreed on 3PM I arrived at the Edmond Hyundai Dealership at approx 2:45 PM and met the Real Edmond Hyundai General Manager David Patel he once again apologized for the confusion and offered a written guarantee that they would fix the 2011 cadi STS to my satisfaction and he would give me good car to drive while they fixed my car.
    Mr David Partel was professional up front and honest about the incident Mr David Partel appears to have righted this wrong. Thank you GM David Partel and Edmond Hyundai staff. I am now a happy Edmond Hyundai customer.
