Phones 4 U

I went to phones 4 u last year in november as i wanted a new phone. i still had 3 or 4 months left on my old phone but phones 4 u offered to give me £100 towards cancelling my contract with vodafone - which i took.
Within 6 / 7 days of having the phone it started to freeze and wernt working properly, i took it into the shop and they told me to keep it for a few more days and to do an update (no update was needed, and the only reason they told me to take it home was because then when i come back to complain again id be outside of the 14 day return policy). so i took the phone home, kept it for a week and it still wasn’t working properly, so i took it into the shop and they advised it needed to be sent off. This was sent off, i was left without a phne for 4 weeks and then when it come back to me the issue was still there - constant freezing and switching itself off. I understand under the sale of faulty goods act this phone shouldn’t of been given to me in the first place as it was a faulty item.
I have then had continual problems with the phone and its had to be sent off again, leaving me with no phone for another month! I want to cancel my contract with phones 4 u immediately. do you think i have a chance in this without paying the £450 disconnection charge?
I also went into the phones 4 u shop in london where i was dealt with by a very rude member of staff who actually swore at me!
