I received a call from a man who said his name was Ronald Jackson. He stated that he worked for a collection company called ECS and was collecting money for cash advance USA. The number that he called from was 347-491-5138. He told me that they would show up at my job and arrest me because in October of 2011 I took out a payday loan and never paid it back. He said that I was to be charged with intentional misappropriation of funds, non commuted funds transaction and something else. To resolve this I would need to pay this amount as well as the legal fees. For starters I know I did not take out a payday loan then. Second this is not the first time that I have received a call like this and when I asked for more information I was hung up on.
