I received a text on July 27th from events2cell that looked like Spam so I ignored it, followed by two messages saying that I was signed up for a subscription for 3 messages per week for events in the area. The number had automatically signed me up for their services without me even acknowledging them, and I received their $9.99 charge on my bill.
When I notified AT&T, they immediately removed the charges and suggested I install their free blocker which prevents this from happening, which I happily did. What assholes at Byte Spike LLC. Thank you AT&T for refunding my money.
