John Edwards called my home, my wife answered the phone, he said he worked for Microsoft. She handed me the phone. He asked, are you having any problems with my computer? I said yes I cannot use my Logitech web cam. He asked me when I last on the computer? I said this morning. He asked me to go to my computer. Which I did.( I'm thinking that he is Microsoft employee) He asked me to log in and go to ammyy.com. and select ammyy.com admin. He asked the ID number, I did that and at this time it opened a dialog between us. He showed me an item stating my computer was of warranty. He first wanted $399 for life time. I told him I did not have the money and that I was on social security and was a senior citizen. He said I should have told him earlier, he the would be $100. I was going to extend it. He Asked me who I banked with I told him Sun Trust. He told me to go o my account. H e asked , which credit card I was going to use. He clicked the one time button.
He had control of my computer and he started to work on fixing the problem. He worked on it fpor about 1 and a 1/2 hrs. My wife need me to take her somewhere. He said he was going to work on some more. the next morning I tried to get onto my internet explorer. I could not get online,I called the phone# he had given the day before. He told me to try different methods to log inI worked hrs and was un successful,. he asked me to call him when I got online. I restored my computer to it's original state. I did not call him.
ThE next day he called me again, as I had another Internet browser that I could log onto and worked While he was sleeping in India I downloaded Mozilla foxfire. When he went to work he must have seen tthat I had go onto internet explorer he put a stop to that, I can go online with Mozilla, WHICH I'm able to fill out this complaint.
