Complaint 144008 Details

I ordered eyewear from Hakim Optical on August 1, 2012 (payment had to be given at time of order) and was told they had to be special ordered and would not be in for 10 to 14 days. In the interim I discovered that my health coverage would not start until October, 2012. I called Hakim Optical 3 business days later to discuss this and asked if I could cancel the order and reschedule for when my coverage became effective. They refused saying that it was too late. I then asked if they would hold the glasses until October and they again refused. Hakim absolutely would not try in any way to find any solution to my dilema.

I feel that I was treated very unfair, because once they have your money, all's fair in love and war.
