I had a good running 1982 Allegro RV, 28 feet. I was taking it on a long trip with pets and wanted to be sure of no break down. Family Automotive was hired to put in a new rebuilt Jasper Engine, along with new tires. The job was to be $10,000.00, to be finished in 10 days. Although Jasper engine is clearly written on the paperwork, Jasper is a nationwide company, (giving 3 year nationwide warranty coverage), and they can verify that this engine was never purchased. Instead, they took out my old engine, made it run poorly, conned me into having 2 bank checks drawn in their parent's names, (this shop was owned by 2 brothers, Bobby & Billy, and the money was handed over, 1 check at a time, when I was conned into believing the RV was ready. Each time the RV stopped running before I even pulled out onto the street. Finally I paid them more in cash, but barely made it out of their yard, started my trip, spending thousands more, and it is now sitting in AL. Total cash loss = $20,000. I just want my money, I'll sign over the RV, legally to them. They made such a mess out of it, they can have it.
