To whom it may concern:
My name is Owusu Asamoah and I have an AT & T wireless account. I have had an account with AT & T for approximaterly since 2007. On July 5th 2012 we moved from Massachusetts to Columbus MS for employment obligation. Upon arrival on 7/5/2012 I realized my my AT & T wirless cell phone did not have a service inside my home. I contacted the company and I was told I needed a 3G microcel to boost my signal. I acquired the device from AT & T and when I tried to activate the device online and I was informed the serial number on the device is associated with a different account number. I called AT&t representative about the issue on numerous occassion and they were unable to resolve the issue. When I inquired about cancelling my account with the company because of their inability to provide me with the services I was paying for; I was informed because of my contractual agreement with the company I have to pay a penalty in order to do so. I have already paid for services I did not fully used in July and I am being charged for service in August with $109 and a penalty of approximately $300 to cancel my service. I will be very grateful if you can advise me on this matter. I can reached at email address (Personal Information Removed)
